As I was only a child at the time, I don't remember any of the details, but it was the ONLY star wars toy that I left in its original packaging and held onto over the years. It has remained stored away in my many boxes of keepsakes and has since become the "crown jewel" of my Star Wars action figure collection. To be honest, I do have an emotional attachment to it.
If it sells, it sells. If it doesn't, then I'm perfectly fine keeping it. Had I known what the value would become, I would have kept it in a better storage container. Unfortunately, the original bag has come open at the bottom seam and then split about an inch and a half up the bottom right side (see pics).
I noticed this had happened while going through my inventory in 2021. As the opening in the original bag is large enough for the figure to slide out, I opted to remove it to take photos for this listing. Note that the figure has NEVER been removed from the original packaging prior to these photos and is currently back in the original bag. Regarding removing the figure from its original bag...
This was done as carefully as possible to document the authenticity and overall condition of the item with photos. Check out my other vintage Star Wars toys listings.
